Joanne Wolfe MD, MPH

Joanne Wolfe, MD, MPH, is the Division Chief of Pediatric Palliative Care in the Department of Psychosocial Oncology and Palliative Care at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Director of Pediatric Palliative Care at Boston Children’s Hospital.  She is also the Faculty Vice President for Faculty Development at the Dana-Farber.  Dr. Wolfe is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School. Her primary interest is related to eliciting child-reported outcomes using internet-based technology among children with cancer and other serious illnesses. She is coupling PROs with palliative care interventions aiming to improving health-related quality of life and symptom distress in children with advanced cancer.  She is involved in additional studies assessing pediatric palliative care outcomes. Dr. Wolfe is a 2007 ACS grantee.
