Christopher Woodrell MD

Christopher Woodrell, MD, is an Assistant Professor within the Brookdale Department of Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City. He is also a Staff Physician at the Geriatric Research, Education, and Clinical Center at the James J. Peters VA Medical Center in The Bronx. He is a palliative care physician and early career clinical research investigator, with a research focus in early palliative care delivery to people with hepatocellular carcinoma, the most common type of primary liver cancer. Dr. Woodrell was a 2017 NPCRC Junior Faculty Career Development Award grantee and is a 2019 American Cancer Society Mentored Research Scholar Grant awardee.
