The National Post-Doctoral Palliative Care Research Training Collaborative is a community of research trainees in geriatric palliative care from institutional palliative care research training programs across the country. The goal of the collaborative is to create synergies across the programs in training, provide career development support, and help identify and recruit candidates.

Karen Steinhauser is a health scientist with the Center for Health Services Research in Primary Care, VA Medical Center, Durham, Associate Professor in the Departments of Medicine and Population Health at Duke University, and Associate Chair for Research at Duke Palliative Care.
