NPCRC 2007 Grantee, Christina Ullrich, MD, MPH, Receives the AAHPM Young Investigator Award and the AAHPM Paper Award

Christina Ullrich, MD, MPH, of Children's Hospital Boston and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, MA and a 2007 National Palliative Care Research Center grant recipient, has earned the AAHPM Award for Young Investigators in the Junior Faculty category and the AAHPM Paper Award this year.
The Young Investigator Award recognizes a young investigator whose abstract submission was considered outstanding by the program committee.Additionally, her proposal entitled, “Understanding Fatigue in Children with Advanced Cancer” has been chosen to receive the annual AAHPM Paper Award. This award recognizes the top scoring papers, as determined by the program planning committee.
Dr. Ullrich’s paper session followed by the award presentation is scheduled for Thursday, March 26, from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm at the AAHPM Annual Meeting in Austin, Texas.
