Nuts and Bolts of Multi-Site Randomized Controlled Trials in Palliative Care, Rebecca Sudore, MD, Associate Professor of Medicine, University of California, San Francisco, August 2, 2017

Description: RCTs are crucial for building the evidence base for palliative care interventions. The purpose of this webinar is to discuss the "nuts and bolts" of designing and conducting an RCT with a focus on recruitment, consent, and retention of vulnerable populations. Dr. Sudore will use her own experience conducting trials with diverse English-and Spanish-speaking older adults to discuss challenges and pitfalls of RCTs and how to overcome them.
